So you have built your online store and maybe even made some sales. Now you have decided to take it to the next level and get Affiliates to promote your products. After you have signed up with clixGalore the only thing left to do is to get the tracking code in place, then everything can get started and hopefully you and your Affiliates can start a long and profitable relationship. So how exactly do you get the tracking code in place? Well, it's not that difficult... so just follow these steps.

Tracking code is a little piece of code placed on the Merchant's site that allows clixGalore to be alerted when a sale is made through your site that was driven by one of your clixGalore Affiliates. Here is how to implement it:

Sale Programs

Setting up the code for sales program varies as everyone has different shopping carts.

First you will need to retrieve the exact instructions for integrating your clixGalore code with your shopping cart. Luckily clixGalore is compatible with 99% of shopping carts so there shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Just log into your membership area and in the menu, click on "Help" and then "Shopping Cart Setup Instructions" in the submenu. In the popup window select the name of your program as well as the type of shopping cart you have from the drop down menus. You will then be presented with exact instructions pertaining to your program and shopping cart.

Select your Program and the type of Shopping Cart that you use.

Follow these dynamically generated instructions and you should have no problems.

These are example instructions for the 2Checkout Shopping Cart system.

Lead Programs

The first thing you will need to do to implement the code for your lead program is get the code. It is sent to Merchants by email, but it is also available from within the login area. Just log in and go to "Transactions" in the menu and then "Retrieve End of Sale / Lead Page Code" in the popup submenu. If you have more than one Merchant program then make sure you have selected the correct one from the drop down box. You will see at the bottom of the page the text box which contains your end of sales page code. Copy the code onto text pad or into an MSWord document.

This is the code you place on your Thankyou Page.

Next you will have to alter your end of sale or lead page to incorporate that code (This is usually the page on your site that says "Thanks for Filling Out Our Lead.") Usually this is as simple as pasting the code into the html of your end of sale page between the and tags and uploading it.

That's it!

Now you are ready to perform a test transaction!
