These days, it is incredibly easy for most people to design attractive and professional looking websites with WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) Editors such as Dreamweaver, Microsoft Front Page. Using these programs it is very easy to integrate clixGalore tracking code for banners or text ads. This tutorial will take you through the steps of integrating the banner and text link tracking code with your websites if you are using one of these popular programs.

To begin with, you are going to need to retrieve the tracking code for the banner or text that you wish to display on your site. Login to your clixGalore account and go to "Get Banner Linking Code / Deep Linking" and then navigate to the code of the Merchant whose banner you wish to display.

Once you are on the page with that code, you can then open up your WYSIWYG editor. Then open the file of the page you wish to put the banner or text link onto.

Dreamweaver - If you are using Macromedia's Dreamweaver program to create your site then the process is quite easy. After you have opened the file in your editor, you will need to open the "Code View" which is available in the toolbar under "View". This will allow you to look at the HTML code of your web page. Within that code, you will need to find the place where you wish to place the clixGalore Merchant banner or text linking code. When you have found the place, simply copy and paste the code from the textbox on the clixGalore site. Don't forget to save the file. Now you will have to upload that page to your webserver.

MS Front Page - The process for inserting clixGalore code into a website using MS Frontpage is also very simple. You will need to insert the code directly into the HTML of the page you wish to alter. To view the HTML, simply open the file of the page you wish to alter in MSFP and then go to "HTML" from the "View" option in the navigation bar. Then find the place you wish to insert the banner or text. Then copy the code from the clixGalore site and paste it into the code of your open file. Don't forget to save it. Now upload the page to your webserver and the banner should be visible.

Other WYSIWYG Editors ¨C As you can see from the examples above, you need to place your banner code directly into the HTML of the page you wish it to be on. If you are using a different editor such as Adove GoLive or CoffeeCup, then the instructions are much the same. You need to go to the "HTML View" in order to insert the code. On most WYSIWYG editors, this means navigating to the "View" option on the nav bar and then selecting "HTML." 98% WYSIWYG editors are the same for this function. Paste in the code from the clixGalore site and then save and upload the file.

WYSIWYG Editors are a great way to maintain your Affiliate website. They save a lot of time and most novices can use them without a lot of hassle. As always, if you need any help with integrating your clixGalore code into your website, you can drop an email to the customer care team at clixGalore and they will be happy to assist you.

Happy building!
